UNDERSTANDING AND MANAGING CHANGE AND ITS FACTORS

It's important to recognize that there are several forms of change before attempting to implement any kind of management strategy for them within an organization. There are primarily three types, and they are as follows:

Developmental change

When someone has the epiphany that a thing can be better through modification rather than disposal, they have undergone a "developmental change." It's possible that your marketing team is slipping behind schedule, or that HR will need to keep a close eye on the staff for a while as the organization readjusts to the new situation. It's vital to keep a tight rein on your personnel for a set and regulated amount of time during these changes.

Transitional change

Transformative shifts and transitional shifts frequently go hand in hand. It's possible that as your business grows, additional policies and processes may be necessary. During times of transition, it's critical to be aware of these needs so you can react correctly.

Changing circumstances

Usually, a transitional era is followed by a period of change. A corporation may occasionally discover that it needs to introduce new policies and procedures as it grows. During times of transition, it's essential to be alert so that you can act quickly if necessary.

What types of shifts do you usually observe at work? How consistent are you—or do you change all the time? Describe a situation in which change is inevitable.
